Summary
| Selo Rovak was a female Tosharan who lived on the planet Toshara around 3 ABY.Native to Toshara, she was raised in a windfishing settlement, always dreaming of a different life, but unable to leave her family behind. She spent her time creating gadgets that would streamline windfishing, devices that took advantage of the strength of Toshara's winds.She once built a unique device - an atmospheric accelerator, that allowed to control wind patterns. Rovak sold it to the Empire in exchange for the off-world parts she needed in her work. But the Empire installed the accelerator on their wind harvester, which affected the direction of the wind and diverted the wind from local windfishers. Disgraced and rejected in her home village, Rovak left Kadua and founded a mechanical workshop in the Mirage region. Later, when Kay Vess came to her workshop, looking for a mechanic to improve her speeder, Rovak convinced Vess that the accelerator was a key part for the upgrade and asked her to steal it from an Imperial harvester.Vess stole the accelerator and returned it to Rovak. Grateful that the wind currents had returned to normal and her people could continue windfishing, Rovak installed the accelerator on Vess' speeder, giving it increased speed boost capabilities. She also taught Vess how to create other useful items, provided she could obtain the necessary materials and components. | ||
